  • Completing a thorough role analysis to define the key responsibilities, competencies, and working environment;
  • Developing screening criteria;
  • Developing behavioural interview questions based upon role requirements and needed competencies; and
  • Using a quantifiable method of assessing, scoring and ranking each candidate.

Not only is the data useful for identifying the best candidate in a legally defensible manner, it also provides you with information for the orientation and development plan for the candidate as he/she joins your organization.
